If you find yourself feeding your kids pizza for lunch and dinner in one day, guess what?
You're still a great mom!
Your kids are being fed.
Have you put your kids in front of the TV to watch a movie so you can catch up on chores around the house?
You're still a great mom!
You are providing a clean place to live.
Your kids go to daycare so you can work. Someone else is with them during the day?
You're still a great mom!
You are getting that bread for those kids while they are being watched.
You are seeing a doctor or therapist for something going on?
Yes, you are still a great mom!
You are taking care of yourself so you can continue caring for those little ones.
We all parent differently. Just because you have to do something that is uncomfortable, or not the same as others, doesn't make you any less a mom.
As long as we do the best we can with what we've been dealt, then that's all that matters.
Those kids will see what a strong, loving person you are through the actions taken to make sure they are provided for and loved. Doing what you need to do for them will always make you a great mom!
